A wedding dress?!

Yes! I'm in the beginnings of making a wedding dress! :D Not mine (Unfortunately. ;) :P ), but a good friends, and I'm so excited! Both for her and for making this dress! I've never made a wedding dress before but I figure ball gowns aren't too different.. Right? :P
My friends dream dress is the titanic "dinner dress" or "heaven dress".

It's such a lovely dress and I feel pretty confident about making it. *beams* :) :P
Starting yesterday we have 3 months to finish the dress. So far we've done the first mock up for the under dress. We'll be making the "under dress" and "sheer beaded over dress" separate. With the over dress as a wrap dress, wrapping and closing in the back.
Today I'm working on basting the mock up together so we can further test the fit at our next "fitting". :) Let's see how this mock up sews together! Front and back under dress pieces pinned together at the side seam.
